Shenmue 3 is in the works, but what about Shenmue 1 and 2 which is to say, HD remasters that will let individuals dig into them without having to own a Dreamcast? Sega Runescape 3 Gold Community Administrator Dan Sheridan said in the latest Q Videos that the creator is looking into it, but cautioned that the job is more complicated than you might think. Unfortunately, it's not as easy as porting the activities to the present systems, as we would need to make sure any HD remaster lifestyles up to the quality of the unique headings.
And with activities as immersive as Shenmue 1 and 2, there are further problems from certified items that were involved in the unique activities, Sheridan described. That said, we'd love to do it, and are currently analyzing how creating it a truth.
It would no doubt be a big job: As Engadget highlights, the first two Shenmues had a number of marketing tie-ins and items for both the Northern United states and Western produces of the activity, and given their age groups Shenmue came out in 2000, Shenmue 2 annually later they'd have no importance (and likely no legal license) now.At once, there's clearly need for more Shenmue. Last seasons Shenmue 3 Kickstarter drawn in a record-setting $6.3 million dollars, while the follow-on Slacker Backer campaign selected up another $230,000. It's currently meant to be out sometime near the end of 2017.
